11/29/20 – 12/5/20

Evening Jaguar families,

I hope everyone enjoyed your restful and very needed last few days.  Our Jaguars need to can keep this momentum going strong.  We did it!  We finally reached the last month of 2020.  This roller coaster of a year is almost over and we need to keep our foot on the gas pedal of perseverance.  As you all know by now, the Haverhill School Committee has voted that all the Haverhill Public School students are to work solely remote this week.  In the upcoming weeks the School Committee and Joint Corona Virus Response Team will be looking at the state and local data, to determine the next steps in how we will move forward.  Stay tuned.  I will do my best to keep you informed.

As for this week, there will be little change to how staff is teaching.  Students will have the same schedule, same meets, same workload and only two more days at home instead of some children entering the building.  Please see the attached December Calendar to stay in the loop.  If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out.

Gobble, Gobble Jaguar Families,

Mr. Gray and I wanted to personally thank you for all your hard work and dedication over these past three months.  You have been supportive, compassionate and extremely flexible.  The transition to our 2020 school year has been very trying to say the least.  You communicated your concerns, have been very understanding and definately doled out a great deal of praise for our hard working staff.

As we look forward to the next few days off and reflect upon the things we are thankful for, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention our staff, students and extremely supportive parents. Our school is fortunate to have an extremely strong sense of community, a hard working staff and truly wonderful group of students.  Your children have been making solid progress within this new norm and we all look forward to wrapping up this weird, but unforgettable school year.

Thank you again for your continued support and Happy Thanksgiving!
