Grade Five Jaguar Families, 

Below is the schedule during the last week of school for our fifth grade cherubs at Silver Hill. With the year being as crazy as it was, the Admin and staff came up with a list of activities for each and every day. We have something going on every day for our 5th grade superstars.    The PTO was generous enough to help with some of this. With that being said, all of our activities are geared towards student smiles and a great experience as they transition to their next venture in their schooling journey.  

As you know, many things are different this year. We have looked at coverage and the staff needed to run our festivities.  Fortunately, we currently have the coverage we need during most times.  I realize previous years we were able to have numerous volunteers.  However, due to several factors we are only going to need a handful of parents to assist in setting up on Tuesday and live streaming on Friday.  The PTO has volunteered to help assist in this. 

For our RLA families, times are approximate and we appreciate all you have done this year.  Mrs. Neira will be fine tuning the drop off and pickup times.  Stay tuned to your google classroom for notifications.  For the last week’s activities, you all may park and wait in your cars by the old drop off line or may even leave to have some time for yourselves (we know how hard that is to find some free time these days) and come back when we wrap up.

Monday, June 14th 

Parents welcome to observe and take photos during their child’s time

Yearbook/Certificate Distribution and photo with teachers

Parents and students are invited to come to Silver Hill Monday during the morning OR evening time slot according to their teacher(s) to receive their yearbook, t-shirt, and certificate. There will be an opportunity to take a picture with your child’s teacher(s). Please stay in your car and pull up in the front loop. For the morning times, classes will be outside during their time slot, so there is no sign up necessary.  

Morning time slots:  

Veasey/Poulin: 9:30-10:30

Deneu: 10:30-11:30

Neira/Dufault: 11:00-12:00

Evening time slots:

Veasey/Poulin: 4:00-5:00

Deneu: 4:30-5:30

Neira/Dufault: 5:00-6:00

Tuesday, June 15th

Parents may come to help out/observe during their child’s time slot

Rain date of yearbook/certificate distribution – same morning and evening times as above.

Obstacle Course / BBQ lunch

PTO will be setting out the obstacle course prior to lunch on Tuesday morning.

-There is no rain date. 

BBQ Lunch:  11:30-12:00 (for grade 5 only)

Please send your child with a white t-shirt to tie dye at school.

Extra shirts will be available if you are not able to send one in.
