Dear Silver Hill Community,
Happy Sunday! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend, although it is a bit chillier than it should be this time of year!
THANK YOU to all of our parents who have been chaperoning field trips this spring! We always appreciate your help, and you help the trips go that much more smoothly! All the field trips have been wonderful these past few weeks!
As a reminder, the field to the right of the school (as you are looking at it) is finished and open! The grass is beautiful, and the students are loving playing on it! Thinking about students playing in the field, you may want to send your child with a hat to wear, as well as apply sunscreen in the morning before school. We will be reminding the students, but please also remind them that they should keep their shoes on while they are outside.
FIELD DAY - this year will take place on an actual field! Mr. Kotosky has been hard at work planning events and preparing the students! Grade 4 is on Wednesday, June 10th (time TBD), and K-3 is on Thursday, June 11th, at the times listed below. I will be sending out a SignUpGenius at the start of the week for families to sign up to hand out water and popsicles to students, and we will also be looking for donations of water, cups, and popsicles. All families are welcome to watch and cheer on their children!
