New Assistant Principal! - Please join me in welcoming Ms. Kerri Hermann as the new Assistant Principal of Silver Hill! She comes to us from Woburn, where she has been a classroom teacher and reading specialist for the last 20 years. She is very excited to join our community! She will be at Silver Hill on Tuesday, so the students and staff will be able to meet her, and I will also set up other opportunities for families to meet her.
FIELD DAY - this year will take place on an actual field! Mr. Kotosky has been hard at work planning events and preparing the students! Grade 4 is on Wednesday, June 10th, from 9:30-noon, and K-3 is on Thursday, June 11th (raindate Friday, June 12th), at the times listed below. All families are welcome to watch and cheer on their children!

9:15 am - 10:30 am - Grade 1
10:30 am - 11:30 am - Grade K
11:35 am - 1:00 pm - Grade 2
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm - Grade 3

As a reminder, the field to the right of the school (as you are looking at it) is finished and open! The grass is beautiful, and the students are loving playing on it! Thinking about students playing in the field, you may want to send your child with a hat to wear, as well as apply sunscreen in the morning before school. We will be reminding the students, but please also remind them that they should keep their shoes on while they are outside.
