CRAZY HAT DAY

On Friday, October 18 our SH Jaguars participated in Crazy Hat Day.  Student Council members organized this day as a fundraiser for the Heavenly Hats Foundation.  The Heavenly Hats Foundation (TM) collects and distributes brand new hats of all kinds to those heroes of all ages who lose their hair due to the treatment of cancer.  Our SH Jaguars raised $470 for this foundation.  Way to go Jaguars!

Hello Silver Hill Families,

Last week was an extremely busy week at Silver Hill.  Our “HEAVENLY HATS” Event sponsored by Student Council raised almost $500, which will be donated to the Heavenly Hats Foundation for children battling cancer!  The school also raised $540 for PINK OUT DAY which will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation! Two great examples of how kind and compassionate our students, families and staff are here at Silver Hill!  Go Jaguars!

With the change of bus routes last week came more challenges with arrival and dismissal.  We are truly working every day to find the best practices for these procedures. After speaking with a few parents, I will try to send out a robo-call regarding any buses that have a particular issue with time.   There are over 600 students to dismiss and I appreciate the feedback and support to make this work better for all. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and commitment to work together.
