A Promise of Commitment
We, the Silver Hill Elementary School staff, parents/caregivers and community, guide each child in achieving his or her greatest potential by providing a diversity of experiences which integrate excellence in education with the child’s individual abilities and unique talents. We share the responsibility, in a safe and secure environment, for student acquisition of academic, creative, emotional, physical and social skills necessary for entering society as contributing members.
Parent/Caregiver Agreement It is important to have my child reach his full academic potential.
Therefore, I will encourage him/her by doing the following items:
● See that my child attends school regularly and is on time.
● To provide adequate rest, food & medical attention so that my child is ready to learn.
● Establish a time and place for homework and check it regularly.
● Support the school staff and respect the diverse cultures of the school.
● Have ongoing communication with my child’s school and teacher.
● Limit and monitor my child’s TV and movie viewing, Internet and videogame use.
● Attend Parent/Teacher conferences.
● Encourage daily reading at home.

Student Agreement It is important that I do the best that I can. Therefore, I will do the following:
● Come to school each day and be in class on time.
● Have my homework completed and turned in on time
● Share my agenda with my parents/caregivers
● Have the supplies that I need
● Always try to work to the best of my ability
● Show respect for myself, my school, its staff, and other students
● Follow the rules at my school and home
● Believe that I can learn and I will learn
● Accept responsibility for my own actions.

● Maintain high expectations for myself, students & other staff.
● Use methods and techniques that work for my classroom
● Maintain open lines of effective communication with my students and their parents/caregivers in order to support student learning
● Continue efforts to develop professionally.
● Seek ways to involve parents in classroom activities
● Respect the students, their parents/caregivers, and the diverse culture of the school.

Una promesa de compromiso Nosotros, el personal de (La Escuela Elemental Silver Hill), los padres y la comunidad, guiamos a cada niño para que alcance su mayor potencial al brindar una diversidad de experiencias que integran la excelencia en la educación con las habilidades individuales y talentos únicos del niño. Compartimos la responsabilidad, en un entorno seguro y protegido, de que los estudiantes adquieran las habilidades académicas, creativas, emocionales, físicas y sociales necesarias para ingresar a la sociedad como miembros contribuyentes.
Acuerdo de Padre / Tutor Es importante que mi hijo alcance su máximo potencial académico. Por lo tanto, lo alentaré haciendo lo siguiente:
● Ver que mi hijo asista a la escuela con regularidad y llegue a tiempo.
● Brindar descanso adecuado, comida y atención médica para que mi hijo esté listo para aprender.
● Establezca una hora y un lugar para la tarea y revíselo con regularidad.
● Apoye al personal de la escuela y respete las diversas culturas de la escuela.
● Tener comunicación continua con la escuela y el maestro de mi hijo.
● Limitar y monitorear el uso de televisión, películas, Internet y videojuegos de mi hijo. ● Asistir a las conferencias de padres y maestros.
● Fomente la lectura diaria en casa.

● Siempre tratar de trabajar lo mejor que pueda

● Aceptar la responsabilidad de mis propias acciones.
● Resolver los conflictos de forma pacífica.

Acuerdo de Administración y Maestros Los estudiantes deben tener la oportunidad de tener éxito. Por lo tanto, haré lo siguiente:
● Mantener altas expectativas para mí, los estudiantes y el resto del personal.
● Usar métodos y técnicas que funcionen para mi salón de clases
● Mantener líneas abiertas de comunicación efectiva con mis estudiantes y sus padres para apoyar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.
● Continuar con los esfuerzos para desarrollarse profesionalmente.
● Buscar formas de involucrar a los padres en las actividades del aula
● Respetar a los estudiantes, sus padres y la cultura diversa de la escuela.
