Dear Silver Hill Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed this beautiful summer day…perfect for outside fun!
I have attached the introduction letter from our new Assistant Principal, Sandy Green. I have met with Sandy and can already tell that she shares the same values in education that we celebrate at Silver Hill. She spoke of the sense of community that is present at our school, and is excited to be a part of continuing in the tradition of family involvement, programs that support the development of the whole child, and supporting our staff with resources and professional development to make sure that all of our students receive the very best educational experience that we can provide. Sandy’s energy and commitment to educating our children will make her a very positive addition to our school, and I look forward to having her join the administrative team!
A reminder that tomorrow night, Monday, August 14, there will be a public community meeting in coordination with the Department of Education to provide information about the Silver Hill’s current operating status. All school stakeholders, including parents/guardians, staff, and Haverhill Public School partners, are invited. The meeting will be held at the Silver Hill library at 6:00pm. Hope to see many of you there!
