Dear Silver Hill Families,
Our Grades 2, 3, Chorus and Band will hold their Memorial Day concert tonight at 6:00. Ms. Hough and our musicians sound great during rehearsals and I’m looking forward to the concert!
My June “Coffee with the Principal” will be for any fifth grade parents/guardians whose children will be attending Consentino next year. The event will be held at the Consentino library on June 6that 5:30. This will be an opportunity to meet the Consentino administrative team and some Silver Hill alumni who will tell you about the school. I know the move to middle school can bring lots of questions and in the past parents have told me this has been a helpful part of the transition. The RSVP flyers will be coming home next week.
I have been asked by the cafeteria manager to remind families that when you send money in with your child please remember to put it into a sealed envelope with the child’s name and the classroom teacher. Students sometimes bring the money down to the cafeteria and may just leave it on the register without waiting for an adult. This week we had a sizeable amount of cash left in a baggie with no name. We’re still trying to track down who left it, so if you believe it may have been your child, please call the school. Thank you!
Attention families with incoming kindergarten students! We will only be having two kindergarten classrooms next year. Both of these classes are just about full with reserved spots for siblings of children already at Silver Hill. If you haven’t already, please be sure that you schedule your appointment to register your kindergartner so they are all set! For our current students in grades K-4, unless you have told us that your child will not be returning to Silver Hill next year, your child is automatically registered to continue here next year. You do not need to do anything more!
