Dear Silver Hill Families,
This will be my last Week Ahead for the school year and also for Silver Hill Horace Mann Charter School. The entire school community should be extremely proud of the achievements of the school. Those achievements will continue. Silver Hill will continue to have dedicated, highly qualified staff and our goal will continue to “graduate” children who are not just academically prepared, but are “good kids” all around. We will continue to use our logo, N-I-C-E – Nurture, Inspire, Challenge, Educate. The school name doesn’t make the quality of a school, the people inside do. We are Silver Hill, and our Jaguars will always ROAR!
Special thanks to our outgoing PTO Board, Kristina Morowski, Andrea Barman, Nicole Kardos, Becca Marley, and Stacey Foster. And to Colleen O’Connell, our Box Top coordinator and school store Mom! Thanks, too, to Kerry Heusser who coordinated the Grade 5 Banquet and the Fifth Grade Fun Day obstacle course. The kids had a blast at both. And to ALL of our Silver Hill parents, guardians, and families. Silver Hill is so fortunate to have so many parents and guardians give so much time and energy to support their children’s education, as well making sure our students and staff enjoy special enrichment activities. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
