Thanks to several parents, I realized I had not given permission for you to edit the google form to sign up for the Morning Mingles on Wednesday August 14th from 8:30-9:30am or Monday August 19th from 8:00-9:00am! Not very helpful at all! I think I may have been just so excited to meet you all that I hit send too fast! I believe I have corrected that mistake. Please try again to sign up at the following link.
In addition, the open House is scheduled from 4:30-6:00pm on Monday, August 26th! Again, I will just blame it on my true excitement for the upcoming school year!
I have also received many emails concerning class lists and class supplies needed. As a district, we will be posting the class lists on Friday, August 23rd. Class supply lists should be on the school website and the PTO facebook page within the next few days. I understand how difficult this can be for many of the students and parents alike. Please know we have an amazing staff here at Silver Hill! Aside from the wonderful students, the staff was a huge draw for me to apply for the role of Principal here. I can assure you, we are putting a lot of thought into the class lists and trying to ensure the best fit for each and every student! Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
I am truly looking forward to meeting with all of you at some point over the next few weeks. Still plenty to get done at school but forming connections with school and families is a top priority!
