Hello Silver Hill Families,
I hope many of you were able to attend the SKATELAND family night last evening sponsored by the PTO. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend but heard it was great fun!
We were not able to put a Silver Hill crew together to march in the Santa Parade but the Mount Washington Alliance was gracious enough to offer any Jaguars that are able and wanted to walk with them may do so. Some of our 5th grade artists made an amazing sign in art on Friday to carry and represent our school. I will post some pictures next week on the website! Please see link attached for information on when and where to meet.
Important Reminders:
- Early Release Wednesday 11/27
- NO SCHOOL Thursday 11/28 and Friday 11/29 Thanksgiving Holiday
- COLD weather has arrived, please be sure the students have warm coats, hats, and gloves. If you need assistance with some warm clothing, please just let us know and we will do our best to help out.
- ATTENDANCE CONTEST: school every day raffle…. Every student who is here daily until Thanksgiving will have their name entered to win a prize for their family. Help your student succeed academically and get a chance to win a prize as well!
- Coming soon, Basketball clinic for grades 4 and 5! One of our parents, Mr. Sadek has graciously offered to run a basketball clinic for students in grades 4 and 5.
Week at a Glance: (short week ahead)
Monday 11/25 – Staff Meeting after school. There will be no teachers available for students after school.
Tuesday 11/26 – Chorus at 8:15 – 8:55am with Mrs Kallas. Please email Mrs. Kallas at barbara.kallas@haverhill-ps.org if your child has signed up but is unable to attend.
Wednesday 11/27 – Early Dismissal – 11:30
Thursday 11/28 – NO SCHOOL – THANKSGIVING
Friday 11/29 – NO SCHOOL – Thanksgiving

- Wednesday Dec 4th Winter Concert Grades 4 & 5 at 5:30pm
- Thursday Dec 5th – Dec 12th = Book Fair
- Wednesday Dec 11th Parent Teacher Conferences
- Lost and Found is full. Please remember to take a look at table outside the cafeteria if your child is missing a coat or sweatshirt. All items will be donated after the parent conferences on Dec 11th.
