Silver Hill Elementary School
Good Morning Silver Hill Families,
Today is Friday, April 3rd. A special thank you to Mrs Murphy from grade 4 for making the call home yesterday! She was so excited to reach out to all of you!
April is Autism Awareness month. Please remember to respect differences in others and Light It Up Blue!
Any parents needing assistance in Spanish may call our parent liaison, Maria Gomez, at 978-384-6225.
We have two Jaguar Birthdays to celebrate today!
Happy Birthday to: Autumn F. and Liam R. and Mrs. Neira!
Hope you all have a fun filled day!
AT HOME LEARNING:
Later today, you will be receiving another email explaining the district expectations as we move into an extended leave from school. It is our wish to provide a schedule of academic and emotional support to all of our Silver Hill Jaguars and their families during this different approach to schooling. Please watch for this important information in your email later today, there will be important information and consents included.
Please remember to continue with the Haverhill Promise reading challenge, “I stayed Home and read to help stop the spread!” Read 20 minutes per day and submit your reading logs to www.haverhillpromise.com/reading-challenge or email@example.com. Guess what? Silver Hill came out on top for the second week in a row! And, three of our students have won gift cards so far too. They are Adrianna L., Emma S., for week 2 and Hadley M. for week 1. YAHOO Jaguars! Let’s keep up that reading and take week number three as well! You are proving to be the brightest stars in Haverhill! Congratulations and great job! Keep up the good work, you know the other schools are really chasing us now! But, they do not know how fast a Jaguar can run or how much a Jaguar likes to read!!
Also continue to work hard on STMATH and be sure to get some physical activity or other fun in every day!
Quick reminder, anyone that signed up for a chromebook to use at home, the pick up is today. You should have received a phone call to schedule a pick up time. If you did not, please call the school today and we should be able to assist you.
A special thank you to Mrs Sanchez for continually posting new pictures of our Jaguars ROARING at home on the school website, Jaguar Corner! It is the best part of the day to see you all working and playing so hard! Please remember to keep sharing pictures by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org or posting on PTO FaceBook page.
Joke of the Day:
Thursday’s joke:How do you get a tissue to dance??? ….. You put a little boogie in it!!!
Hahahaha kind of gross but still kind of funny!!
Today’s joke: Why did the teddy bear say no to dessert?? Listen in on Monday to hear the answer.
Remember to make us PROUD, follow the pledge in and out of school!
Keep learning, stay active, wash your hands frequently, and practice social distancing!
Next week we have more special announcers. Who do you think will do the announcement ton Monday????? We shall see ….
Have a great day, we miss you all,
