Reminder!
Silver Hill Scholastic Book Fair
(Please use link above)
Sunday, April 19, 2020 – Good Evening Silver Hill Families,
I hope everyone was able to enjoy some of the sunshine out in your yards today, especially after the snow just yesterday! We just have to love living in New England!
This coming week is still being treated as school vacation week! There are no set schedules or expectations for staff or students, therefore no scheduled google meets. The staff may have posted some enrichment activities on their Google Classrooms if you and/ or your child are looking for something to do.
I have also included a few suggestions below.
Vacation Enrichment Ideas:
-
Daffodil Days – according to Channel 4 of Boston, CSBN, “For the past six years, thousands of daffodils have lined the 26.2 course to inspire runners and show the city’s resiliency for the Boston Marathon. But this year, the marathon will not be held until September and that message of hope will go to workers on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis. On Friday, thousands of potted daffodils will be placed outside hospitals throughout the Boston area as a show of appreciation for medical workers. There is also a coloring page available for people to color and put in their windows to show support for all essential workers helping to keep us all safe and fed. Please be sure to send in a picture and a special message of support so that we may post on our website under Jaguar Corner! Seaport_Daffodils-for-Boston_ColoringPage_8.5×11.pdf
