Evening Jaguar Families,
I hope you are enjoying this Pink and Red day and the start of our vacation week (2/14 – 2/21). If you were unaware there will be no school this coming week. This is a good time to recharge your batteries and hit your own reset button. We are coming into a long stretch of strong schooling for the month of March.
Attendance Contest Winners
As you may be aware, the district attendance coordinator Ms. Marchant in conjunction with Silver Hill has been running an attendance contest from Jan 1- the end of Feb. We have been tracking students with 100% attendance. Their names have been put into a lottery to win a $25 Amazon gift card. Silver Hill’s winners are Evalee D. from Ms. Scherback’s Kindergarten Class and Jose P. in Mrs.Wezesa’s RLA classroom. Congratulations to both of you.
Food Distribution update
The Farmers to Families Food Box Program is available for pick-up during the food distribution times this coming week. These food boxes contain a variety of fresh produce, meat and dairy products. This program is open to the public. No registration or ID required. Please limit one box per family. Normal FFFB pick-up will resume on Wednesdays at our Grab & Go sites from 11-1 PM and Haverhill High School from 1-4 PM.
