March is here.  It is officially the longest month of the school year. We are so excited the days are getting longer and spring time is right around the corner. This past week was a great success with our “read across america week”. Each day of the week was something special here at school. For example, Tuesday was hat and hundredth day, you should have seen the amazing hats and old people we had walking around. On Friday, staff and students’ costumes were amazing as many of the students dressed up as their favorite character.  

Also, don’t forget to turn your clocks ahead next Saturday night.  

Kindness Rocks

Spring is just around the corner and we are noticing our “Kindness Rocks” rock garden needs a little freshening up. If you are able to paint a rock or two with a kind word or a bit of inspiration, this will add a bit more life to the “Kindness” Rock garden in front of our building.  Feel free to swing on by and take a peek for some clever ideas. 

Thirsty students…

Friendly reminder- Please have your child bring in a refillable container / bottle for water.  We do have water bottle refill stations they can use throughout the day to refill their bottles.  A hydrated student is a happy student.

Picture Retake Reminder…

The picture retakes will be conducted on March 9th for Cohort A and C from 9:30-10:30 with 10:30-12 for RLA.  March 11th from 9:30-10:30 for Cohort B and C along with another 10:30-12:00 session for any RLA students unable to make it on Tuesday.  Parents must order online prior to the retake day and provide a printout of the confirmation number. If your child is doing a ‘retake’, please make sure they bring the original photo to return to the photographer. 

For the RLA students, please drive up to the front of the school and a staff member will meet you at the front door. Your child will be brought back out to you directly after pictures are taken.

If you are doing any Spring cleaning and come across a library book, please have your child drop it off at school. We would love it.
