Jaguar families,
I’m forwarding some information here about the Virtual Cultural Treasures Camp coming up at the end of April.
Hello,
I am writing as Education Coordinator (not as important as it sounds) for the Haverhill Firefighting Museum and the Cultural Treasures of Haverhill (Tattersall Farm, Winnekenni, Buttonwoods, Printmaking Musuem, etc.). We are offering a Virtual Camp over April school vacation targeted to ages 8-12 (but not a strict age parameter). It will be for 4 days, 8 treasures, short 45-50 minutes presentations and interactive project. Preregistration is required and there will be materials packets distributed to registered participants ahead of the week. It is only 10.00.
We were hoping that this flyer could be approved and sent out to the schools, digitally, would probably be best and cost effective; ideally we would like to get it onto the HPS website and School websites where it could be downloaded for Registration purposes.
Please let me know if this is possible. The Treasures have all been shut down for over a year and we are hoping to reopen this summer, but thought that offering this program would be a great way to reach out to kids and families and keep us in their minds when we are open again. Also some of the Treasures are unfamiliar to even local residents and they are such rich resources. The Printmaking Museum is fabulous and they always have interactive programs on Saturdays.
I am attaching a PDF pf the Flyer.
Thank you so much for your consideration. Please contact me by email, text or phone if you have any questions.
