4/1/21
Good evening Jaguar families,
— This not an April Fools joke… (As much as I love the jokes)—-
I wanted to prepare you for the upcoming changes school wide starting 4/5/21. We have been working to make sure there will be minimal disruption to teaching and learning as well as the keeping in mind the well being of our children. I appreciate your flexibility and understanding during this time of transition. With all the In person changes coming, please look at the schedule to be sure where and when your cherub is attending school.

Bus info
The majority of the routes and stops will remain the same with minimal changes. If you have any questions please feel free to take a look at web page for details: https://www.haverhill-ps.org and the Silver Hill web page as well. The transportation department has pulled together a short video explaining the new transportation procedures and students having assigned seats.
Drop off
Our parent drop off in the morning will not change at all.
Pick up
Parent pick up logistics
This has been changed a little. To alleviate potential back ups on Washington St, grades K-3 and 4+5 students with younger siblings, will continue to be picked up in the back of the school, same as before. They may have a new parent pick up number. Keep an eye out for an updated number in your students folder.
Grades 4-5 students with NO younger siblings at Silver Hill, are going to be escorted to the Westford St. path.
Westford St. is the street right to Bartlett school. Parents should travel up Westford St and will escort students for pick up.
Please take a look at these informational powerpoints to visualize the changes.

Parent Teacher Conferences
We will be having parent-teacher conferences on April 6th. Your child’s second trimester teacher will be reaching out to set up times if they have not done so.
Nurse notes…
As we prepare for a full return to school, please contact our school nurse if there have been any changes in your child’s health status or medications. For parents of children with life-threatening allergies, asthma or seizures: please provide medication to be kept at school to be administered if needed. Medication policies and printable consent forms can be found on the Silver Hill website: click “Health forms” under the Nurse’s tab.
Thank you and have a great weekend.
-Mr. Parker
