Jaguar Families,

As we slowly start to pull together the remaining months of the school year. I wanted to give you an informational email pertaining to things we have going on this week.

On Tuesday, May 18 our HPS Technology Department will be at Silver Hill collecting Kindergarten iPads. This date is for in-person learners. Our RLA Kindergartners have a different scheduled pick up date. So, please be sure if you have a K student in-person learner attending Silver Hill that they return their iPad AND iPad charger by Tuesday, May 18.

For our Silver Hill Kindergarten RLA students, you are scheduled for Friday, May 28. More information is forthcoming from our IT department regarding times and scheduling.

It also seems to be MCAS and more  MCAS.  Your classroom teacher has been in contact with you about testing and what your student needs.  Grades k-2 should not be interrupted too much during this testing window.  A tweak in lunch time schedules should be the only thing.

After this week, we will dive into our groupings, schedules and planning for the upcoming school year.   Stay tuned.

Starting Tomorrow, Monday the 17th,  students in Grades 3-5 must be on time and ready to learn for their testing day.  Students need to arrive here at school no later than 9:20.  If they arrive after that they will be slated to take the test during the grade level make up day.  Please make sure our cherubs are ready to go with a good night sleep and healthy breakfast.

Parent drop off and pick up.

In the afternoons, there seems to be large gaps in between cars in the pick up line coming to the school.  If at all possible, please pull up to the car in front of you .  This will hopefully alleviate the traffic on Washington St.

Thank you and I hope you have a great week.
