Here are some updates for the next week:

Curious Creatures! PTO Meeting! Field Day! Middle School Visits! Restaurant Fundraiser at River Street Pizza! Fifth grade activities!  

Upcoming PTO Events: June 7th PTO meeting ~ In person – Silver Hill Library

Thanks to all the students, staff and families who helped to make Gray Day a success!! We began the day with an all school shout out that was a ROARING success! We then had students who earned a prize during Fun Run tape Mr. Gray to the wall! These pictures tell some of the story of the day!

Students welcome visit from Jiji!!

Students across the grades have excelled at ST Math puzzles this year! We earned a special visit from Jiji who visited all classrooms to give High 5’s all around!

**Fifth graders will begin touring Nettle and Whittier Middle Schools on Monday in preparation for their upcoming transitions to middle school! We are so excited for them to begin this new journey of their learning!

=Third and Fourth Grade students had an opportunity to participate in an assembly from the JLine Dancers! The messages of believing in yourself and standing up against bullying were present throughout all the songs and dances they performed for our students! And for the first assembly post Covid – students were so respectful of the dancers and seemed to really engage with the music!

Tomorrow First grade will have a visit from Curious Creatures!

**Silver Hill Kindness Day!!! June 9th – Our fabulous Student Council has prepared an all school assembly for our students featuring original music, poems, and more!!

Reminder: School begins at 8:45 – students who are dropped off before 8:45 are not allowed to come into the building. We have had more and more students being dropped off early ~ please remember there is no staff on duty until 8:45. Thank you for your cooperation!
